your cervix could talk, what would it say?
The cervix is an organ that experiences both growth and pain, and is marked by its incredible resilience. It transforms everyday of the menstrual cycle and it expands in childbirth; it could show signs of sexual trauma and when it’s infected with disease. Yet, do we ever talk about it? Do we even know what the cervix looks like?
The (In)visible Organ shares stories of growth, pain, resilience, and beauty surrounding the inner reproductive anatomy to image new futures for women’s health Inspired by the Callascope technology, our initiative brings in the voices of women and nonbinary people and our intersectional histories into health education, research, and innovation.
