the (in)visible organ is a digital storytelling initiative to destigmatize the cervix and creative new, collective narratives for the inner reproductive anatomy.
Our mission is to bring awareness to the cervix and global cervical cancer through participatory art methods. We engage the arts and storytelling into health education, research, and healthcare innovation.

The Calla campaign is a research collective founded by Nimmi Ramanujan, Wesley Hogan, Deborah Jensen, Marlee Krieger, Mercy Asiedu, Julia Agodogo, Libby Dotson, Gita Suneja and Megan Huchko at Duke University in 2018. It has since involved Keny Murillo, Fati Abubakar, Andrea Kim, Luiza Perez, and many other students, researchers, and health advocates nationwide. The methodologies of the Calla campaign are researched and developed in the Bass Connections program at Duke University.
